Child Safety Standards

Frenz has no tolerance for the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. This page sets out what we prohibit, how we find it, how you report it, and who to contact. It applies everywhere Frenz runs: the website, the mobile apps and the desktop app.

Who can use Frenz

You must be 16 or older to have a Frenz account. Frenz is not built for children and is not directed at them. An account we believe belongs to someone under 16 is removed.

What is banned

None of this is allowed on Frenz, in any form, in public or in private:

• Child sexual abuse material, meaning any image, video or audio that sexualises a minor. Drawn, generated and edited material counts.
• Sexualising a minor in text, in a username, in a bio, in a comment or anywhere else.
• Grooming, or any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes.
• Sextortion, or threatening to share intimate images of anyone.
• Trading, requesting, advertising or linking to any of the above.
• Helping someone else do any of it, including pointing people to where it is hosted.

What happens when we find it

This skips every warning and every strike. The content comes down, the account is permanently banned, and we report it to the authorities and to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children where that applies. We preserve what the law requires us to preserve and hand it over when we are lawfully asked to.

How to report it

Every post, clip, video, message, stream and profile in Frenz has a Report action, in the app and on the web. Reports about a child jump the queue: a person looks at those within 24 hours, ahead of everything else.

You do not need an account and you do not need to know which rule was broken. Mail support@frenz.gg with a link and we take it from there.

If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first. Tell us after.

How we look for it

• Reports from the people using Frenz, every one read by a person.
• Automated checks on what gets posted, on the words and on the pictures. Anything they rate as sexual content involving a minor comes down immediately, and what was removed stays in our queue for a person to act on.
• Patterns a moderator spots, such as an account that keeps approaching younger users. We act on those without waiting for a report.

The law

We follow the child safety laws that apply to us, including Dutch and EU law, and we comply with the child safety requirements of the app stores we distribute through. Where a law obliges us to report or to preserve, we do.

Keeping this current

We review this page at least once a year and whenever the law or our practice changes. The wider rules about what belongs on Frenz, and how enforcement and appeals work, are in the community guidelines.
