Community Guidelines

Frenz is where you hang out with your squad, share your best moments, and go live. These guidelines keep it fun for everyone. They apply to everything on Frenz: clips, videos, posts, stories, comments, chat, communities, live streams, and voice rooms. They are part of our Terms of Service.

The short version

• Play hard, talk trash about the game, never about the person.
• Share your own moments. Tag people who were actually there.
• Mark grown-up content 18+ so it reaches the right audience.
• Porn, real violence, and hate have no place here. None.
• Keep kids safe. Zero tolerance, we report to the authorities.
• Your stream, your room, your chat: you set the tone and keep it clean.

1. Safety

Violence and threats

Game violence is fine. Frenz is a gaming network; frags, takedowns, and chaotic team fights are what clips are made of. Real violence is different: no threats, no inciting or celebrating violence against real people, and no sharing real-world gore or cruelty to shock people.

Harassment and bullying

• No personal attacks, degrading nicknames, or pile-ons.
• No brigading: do not organize your squad or community to raid someone's chat, comments, or voice room to harass them.
• No doxxing. Sharing someone's address, phone number, or other private details is an instant suspension.
• No unwanted sexual remarks or advances.

Hate

Attacking people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or serious illness gets you removed. Hate symbols and celebrating hate groups count too, in usernames and avatars as much as in content.

Self-harm

Do not promote or make fun of suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders. If you or someone you know is struggling, reach out to 113 Zelfmoordpreventie (113.nl, call 113) in the Netherlands or find your local helpline at findahelpline.com.

Minors

• Zero tolerance for any sexual content involving minors, including drawn or AI-made imagery. We remove it, ban the account, and report it to the authorities.
• No grooming, no flirting with minors, no dating content aimed at teens.
• You must be 16 or older to use Frenz. Younger accounts are removed.

2. Content standards and the 18+ flag

Content on Frenz falls in three tiers:

• Never allowed: pornography and sexually explicit content, real gore, sexual content involving minors, and intimate images shared without consent. The 18+ flag does not make these okay.
• Allowed with the 18+ flag: intense content from mature-rated games, sexual themes short of explicit, drugs or drinking as the focus, gambling, and heavy profanity. Flagged content only reaches viewers who are 18 or older.
• Everything else: no flag needed. When in doubt, flag it.

Flagging accurately is your job as the creator. Update the flag mid-stream if your content changes. Missing the flag once gets you a warning; doing it repeatedly means we flag your content for you and enforcement escalates from there. We may also add or correct the flag ourselves.

3. Be real

• No impersonating people, brands, or Frenz staff. No fake accounts.
• No buying or faking views, likes, follows, or engagement.
• Tag your squad honestly. Tagging people who were not in the clip, or who asked not to be tagged, to farm their reach is a violation.
• No spam, scams, phishing, malware, or link traps.
• Banned means banned. Coming back on a fresh account extends the ban instead.

4. Respect ownership

• Upload your own moments. Gameplay you played is generally fine; ripping other people's clips, streams, movies, or TV is not.
• Music counts. Streaming or clipping copyrighted music you have no rights to can get segments muted or removed, and repeat offenses end accounts. See the DMCA and Copyright Policy.

5. Live streams and voice rooms

Everything above applies in real time, on camera and in voice, recorded or not. On top of that, going live comes with its own responsibilities:

• You are responsible for your stream and your chat. Use your mod tools: remove hateful messages, time out or ban troublemakers. A channel that lets abuse run wild is treated like the abuse itself.
• Flag 18+ streams before you go live and update the flag if the content changes mid-stream (see section 2 for what needs the flag).
• Stream what you have rights to. No rebroadcasting other streamers, TV, sports, or films, and watch the music.
• Stay with your stream. No unattended restreams or looped recordings passed off as live.
• Nothing illegal on camera, and no dangerous stunts that put you or others at real risk of serious harm.
• We can cut a live stream mid-broadcast when it breaks these rules. Kicking someone from your own room or chat is your call as host and is not a Frenz enforcement.

6. Illegal and regulated

No selling or promoting drugs, weapons, or counterfeit goods. No running gambling services. No organizing fraud. Nothing that breaks the law.

7. How enforcement works

We match the response to the violation, and repeat offenses escalate:

• Warning for a first, lighter violation, usually with the content removed or the 18+ flag applied for you.
• Strikes for repeat or heavier violations. A strike expires after 90 days; deleting the content does not remove the strike.
• Feature restrictions: you can lose access to going live, uploading, or chat for a while, and keep the rest of your account.
• Suspensions of 3, 7, or 30 days when strikes stack up.
• Permanent ban when nothing else works.

The worst violations skip the ladder entirely: child sexual abuse material, terrorism, and credible threats of violence mean an immediate permanent ban and a report to the authorities.

Every enforcement comes with a reason: we tell you what was removed or restricted and which rule it broke.

Appeals

Think we got it wrong? Appeal within 180 days by mailing support@frenz.gg from the email on your account, one appeal per enforcement. A human reviews every appeal and you get an answer with reasons. EU users can also take an unresolved dispute to a certified out-of-court settlement body.

8. Reporting

See something that breaks these rules? Report it in the app, or mail support@frenz.gg with a link. Reports are confidential and we look at every one. Do not abuse reporting to harass someone; that is itself a violation.

What happens after you report

Every report goes into a queue a person reads, and the serious ones jump the line: anything involving a child, a credible threat, or someone at risk of harm. We look at those within 24 hours. Everything else within three days.

There are three ways it ends. The content comes down, the account behind it comes down with it, or it stays up because it does not break these rules. You do not need to know which rule was broken to report something. Say what you saw and we work out the rest.

Blocking is what you do in the meantime, and what you do about someone who breaks no rule but is still someone you would rather not deal with. Block someone and you disappear from each other: no posts, no comments, no messages, and neither of you can follow the other.
