How instant replay works
Press the key after the play, not before.
A normal recorder needs you to hit record before the moment. A replay buffer holds the recent past, so the save comes after.
The buffer runs
Switch auto-record on and the buffer arms itself every time a known game launches. It holds the last 15 seconds up to 2 minutes.
Press F9
The play just happened and it is already recorded. F9 saves that stretch of the buffer as a clip.
The draft waits
The clip lands as a private draft on your profile. Nothing goes public until you publish it.

Pick the buffer length
Choose how much F9 saves: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute or 2 minutes of the recent past.
Auto record on launch

In beta. The app can save a clip on loud moments, so the play you forgot to press F9 for still lands in your drafts.

What is instant replay software?

Where do saved clips go?
Every capture lands as a private draft on your profile. Trim it, tag the squad members who were in the moment and publish when you choose.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. The Frenz desktop app is free, and so is Frenz itself. Download the Windows app at frenz.gg/download.
Can I record a whole session with it?
No. Frenz keeps a short rolling buffer, not hours of footage. For full session recordings use a dedicated recorder like OBS, then upload the best moments to Frenz from any device.
