Quick answer

A Minecraft community on Frenz combines text, voice, a shared feed, events and live streams. Set up channels for rules, whitelist applications and redstone help, post builds and timelapses to the feed, and connect the community to Minecraft so players who add the game find it in Browse.Product facts reviewed July 18, 2026

Set up the SMP

Channels for how an SMP actually runs.

You pick the structure. These five are where most crews start, built from the same text, voice and moderation tools every Frenz community gets.

Rules and whitelist

Post the season rules and pin them. Take applications in a whitelist channel and lock it between windows.

Seasons

Give each season its own announcements channel. When the world ends, lock the old channels and keep the history.

Redstone help

A channel for farm rates and contraptions. When text fails, hop into voice and screen share the build with audio.

Build showcase

Screenshots, timelapses and clips in the shared feed, where they stay visible instead of scrolling away.

Event nights

Schedule build contests and UHC nights with events. Everyone who is in gets a reminder before it starts.

Build showcases

The megabuild deserves more than a chat scroll.

The community feed keeps posts, screenshots, clips and full videos in one place, so a base tour from March is still easy to find in July.

From world to feed in three moves

Timelapses, base tours, farm demos and the moment a creeper undid a week of work. All of it can live on the same profile and feed.

Tag the builders

Event nights

Make Tuesday the night nobody skips.

Build contests, UHC brackets, shopping district openings. The tools are simple: events, voice, live and the feed.

01

Put it on the calendar

Create a community event so the whole crew can see what is coming and when.

02

Gather in voice

Free voice channels with push-to-talk or open mic, noise suppression on by default and per-person volume for the loud one.

03

Stream the finale

Go live from the browser or with OBS via a stream key. Share your screen with game audio while chat reacts.

04

Keep the recap

The recording stays as a video afterwards. Clip the highlights and tag the players who were in them.

Minecraft communities

Questions SMP owners ask.

Direct answers about whitelists, showcases, discovery, voice and what a community can charge.

Where can I find a Minecraft community or SMP group?

On Frenz, add Minecraft to the games on your profile and open Communities. Communities connected to Minecraft appear ahead of unrelated groups in Browse and recommendations.

Can I run whitelist applications on Frenz?

You can set this up with the standard tools. Create a whitelist channel, pin the questions you want answered and let players post applications there. Moderators can lock the channel between application windows.

What can an SMP community include?

Text channels, voice channels, a shared feed, events, photo and video channels, roles, per-community nicknames and moderation controls such as invites, kicks, bans, pins and locks.

How do I share builds and timelapses?

Upload from any device or capture on PC, then trim, add a music track, apply filters and adjust playback speed. Post to the community feed or your profile. Every clip gets a public watch page with a rich link preview.

Can I tag the people who helped build?

Yes. Tag the squad members who were in the moment. The clip shows on their profiles too and reaches the feeds of their followers.

How is a Frenz community different from a Discord server?

Our goal is for a Frenz community to feel simpler than a big chat server: fewer settings, a shared feed beside the chat and game discovery built into the same platform.

Can my community charge for access?

Eligible communities with at least 500 members can add up to three paid tiers from €2.99 per month. The owner keeps 90% before payment processing.

Does voice cost anything?

No. Voice channels are free, with push-to-talk or open mic, noise suppression on by default, per-person volume and screen share with audio.
